Class Description
This series emphasizes activating the entire core, beyond just the superficial six-pack muscles. With detailed instructional cues guiding your practice, these classes will strengthen your mind-body connection, particularly in the trunk of the body. This series is suitable for both beginners and experienced yogis, offering something for everyone. Each session incorporates a full range of motion, similar to a traditional yoga class, but with a strong focus on the torso. We’ll explore various poses to engage different core muscles, including some crunches, but each week we’ll emphasize activating the whole core using standing, seated, kneeling, belly-down, and supine positions. The awareness gained from these movements will support you both on and off the mat, enhancing your yoga practice and daily life. The content of the classes can be easily adapted to suit your individual needs, whether you’re looking for ease or challenge. We use some repetitive movements, which can be customized to your personal preferences. Modifications and variations will always be offered, clearly explained, and demonstrated.
